WSOP Online: Brandon Zuidema close to two bracelets in one week

Must read

California’s Brandon Zuidema had a week to remember while playing in the ongoing WSOP Online domestic seriesĀ on WSOP.com. Zuidema, a WSOP tourney regular both live and online, captured the first World Series of Poker gold bracelet of his career in Event #22, $888 NL Hold’em Fall Crazy 8’s, for the bling and a $58,520 cash. A few days later, in the next bracelet tourney, Event #23, $666 NL Hold’em Spooky Monsterstack, Zuidema made it to another final table, finishing fourth. That event found Nevada’s Jesse Yaginuma earning his third career bracelet.

Zuidema tops Crazy 8’s

In the Crazy 8’s tourney, Zuidema, who plays as ‘Lothbroke‘, outlasted a 380-entry field to collect that debut bracelet after more than 90 previous WSOP cashes. Zuidema outdueled Russian pro Sergei ‘CaseyStewart’ Kislinskii for the win to collect $58,520.

Kislinskii cashed for $43,320 as the runner-up, while Jed ‘jchak’ Hoffman finished third for $32,680. The 380 total entries came from 227 unique players, who also combined to add 123 re-entries. The tourney offered a $304,000 prize pool with the final 48 players making it into the money.
