PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 16:

* Sarah Jane Cross, 709 South Spring St., Harrisville, pleaded guilty to DUI – driving in an impaired state, less than .15 BAC, fined $361.48 and sentenced to five hours in jail which was ruled as time served. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Ervin Lee Everett, 2215 Tuscarawas St., Apt. 211, Canton, Ohio, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, fined $206.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Another charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jeffrey Allen Richards, 2058 Norman Ridge Road, Big Bend, W.Va., pleaded guilty to open burn of solid waste and fined $276.48.

* Steven Eugene Boyd, 3621 Stella St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage, failure to maintain control and driving without a valid driver’s license, fined $639.44 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Savannah Nicole Gayheart, 216 Juliana St., Elizabeth, had charges of public intoxication and obstruction dismissed after completing the terms of a deferred sentence program.

* Thomas Jason Lafrance, 114 Cedar St., New Haven, W.Va., had a charge of battery dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Che Charles Butler, 841 Grasslick Road, Ripley, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Crystal Jo Brady, 321 Rosemont Ave., Clarksburg, was put on a 6-12 month deferred sentence agreement on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

* Ashton Brook Shotwell, 602 1/2 Hillcrest Terrace, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second offense shoplifting, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 14 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

* Susan Lynn Haisler, 260 Franklin Blvd., Parkersburg, had a charge of speeding dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Christian Damien Guidroz, 3008 Third Ave., Vienna, had a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed, pre an agreement on a prior case.

* Jason Edward Griswold, 650 McDougal Dr., Pennsboro, had a charge of driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Jason Gordon Wiseman, 155 Leachtown Lane, Walker, had charges of driving on a suspended license, expired registration, no MVI and having no insurance dismissed as he is now compliant with state laws.

* Chifton Eugene Stevenson, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $206.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation.

* Katlyn Rae Jarvis, 363 Crown Manor Circle Ste 90, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $107.82civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.

* Amber Marie Cooper, 458 Elk Run. Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to a second-offense driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $452.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of nine days for time served. She also pleaded guilty to having no proof of insurance and fined $376.48. Charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription were dismissed. She also pleaded guilty to a charge of having expired motor vehicle registration and fined $181.48.

* Nathaniel Patrick Woicinski II, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $500 bond.

* Connie Faye Keeper, 802 Walnut St., Ravenswood, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.

* Rhonda Renee Patterson, 2600 27th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of conspiracy in relation to a controlled substance (meth) and released on $25,000 bond.

* Mark Anthony Martino, 4425 17th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $20,000 bond.

* Chloe Lynn Barre, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $500 bond.

* Ronald Eugene Robinson, 1717 26th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and released on $75,000 bond.

* Amber Marie Cooper, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.

* David Roscoe Gray Jr., 1106 Henry Camp Road, St. Marys, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $1,500 bond.

* Christopher James Elza, 1915 Lake Washington Road, Washington, was arraigned on a charge of DUI, greater than .150 BAC, and released on $2,000 bond.

* Randall J. Broda, 3570 Shields Hill Road, Cairo, pleaded no contest to speeding (91 mph in a 65 mph zone) and fined $196.48.

* Cara L. Greenwood, 1360 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, pleaded no contest to failure to stop before a highway and fined $181.48

* Samuale Levi Hunt, 5031 Garfield Road, Palestine, pleaded guilty to having no proof of insurance and fined $376.48

* Brandon James Lott, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, disorderly conduct, fined $417.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had charges of DV bond violation and domestic assault dismissed, per a plea agreement.
