PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 12:

* Shante Nichole Grant, 1221 Sixth Ave., Huntington, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Mackenzy Desaray Mason-McQueary, 406 West main St., Cumberland, pleaded no contest to fishing without a license and fined $196.48.

* Melissa Marie Wise, 1882 Buckner Bend Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to joyriding, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. She is also required to participate in a drug court program for two years. A charge of grand larceny was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Andrew Neil Johnson, 484 Hamilton Ridge Rd., Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $205.38 civil penalty to Hobby Lobby in Vienna. He had a charge of joyriding dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, fleeing from law enforcement in a vehicle and violation of a domestic violence protection order, fined $879.44 and sentenced to seven days in jail which was ruled as time served. A charge of shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Wesley Isiah Brookover, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after he was found not competent to stand trial.

* Nathan Scott Brannon, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, had three counts dismissed of having deadly weapons on the premises of educational facilities as he was indicted on the charges in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jerry Terburgh, 1781 Blennerhassett Heights Rd., Parkersburg, had charges of battery and destruction of property dismissed as neither alleged victim wanted to prosecute.

* Kristen Elyse Kelley, 339 Joes Run Road, Burnsville, pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 11 days in jail which was credited as time served. He had a charge of obstruction dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Matthew Alan Romine, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Franklin County, Pennsylvania, on a charge of DUI-controlled substance. He is being held on no bond. Bond will be set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Phillip Joseph Humphries, 1340 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of transporting a controlled substance into jail and possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) with intent to deliver and held on $100,000 bond.

* Eric Shaun Ameling, 41 Edendale Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of assault and released on $500 bond.

* Amber Nicole Williams, 87 Lahram Lane, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card and released on $2,000 bond.

* Nathan Scott Hoge, 1074 Giffin Road, Cutler, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and released on $1,500 bond.

* Julie Ann Wolfe, 1323 Locust Ridge Road, Washington, was arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence protective order and released on $500 bond.

* Chrystopher Bryan Null, 61 Burt Ave., Newark, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property, driving on a revoked license for DUI, driving while impaired, fleeing from an officer and leaving the scene of an accident and held on $1,500 bond.

* Micah Wayne Griffith, 1593 Lois St., Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $3,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 13:

* Michael Anthony Hurtte, 110 Ninth St., Beckley, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with a credit of six days for time served. He had charges of fleeing from law enforcement (two counts) and obstruction dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also had a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule V controlled substance dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Elijah Jamaal Dixon, 1801 McGraw Run Road, Sandyville, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Betty Joann Genger, 1700 17th St. Apt. #5, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Andrew Gus Janetos, 2020 Green Run Rd., St. Marys, was arraigned on charges of embezzlement and grand larceny and released on $2,000 bond.

* Rex Franklin Hutson Jr., 1319 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and having improper registration and released on $1,000 bond.

* Angelo Nelson Stadtler, Parkersburg was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $3,000 bond.

* Amber Marie Cooper, 3501 Roseland Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having expired registration, possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Justin Matthew Beanard, 1305 Linda Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Todd Justin Twyman, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on bond.

* Everett Swiger Jr., 808 Quincy St. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and having improper registration and released on $1,500 bond.

* Brady Aaron Horvat, 367 Regal Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.

* Joshua J. Casto, 428 Ketubah Lane, Evans, was arraigned on a charge of having no motorcycle endorsement and released on $500 bond.

* Kyle Stephen Hess, 1790 Larkmead Rd., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of no MVI, no registration and having no proof of insurance and released on $500 bond.

* Gregory Angel Pettway, 3839 Bosworth Rd., Clevland, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Ryan Lynn Flanagan, 487 Robin Hood lane, Belleville, pleaded guilty to passing with oncoming traffic and fined $186.48.

* James Michael Nestor, 615 Putnam St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Ronald Todd Grimm, 807 33rd St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $186.48
