WATCH: Fitness event raises funds and pet food for Springs SPCA | Springs Advertiser

On Saturday the Born Fierce Functional Fitness Centre hosted a hybrid fitness racing event in partnership with the Springs SPCA.

The event included teams of two or three who had to participate in the event which consisted of an 8km run and challenging functional exercises.

Over the past few months, this fitness centre set a goal to make history with the first ever pet food Christmas tree consisting of 10 000kg food.

On Saturday morning the unique Christmas tree was already complete. All the proceeds of the fitness event will go towards the Springs SPCA along with their pet food Christmas tree.
