The Super High Roller Bowl PLO on PokerGO was the site of a particularly rough cooler last weekend involving flopped quads and a turned full house. The hand brought plenty of fireworks and involved two of the more decorated PLO players in the field, including the tournament’s defending champion Jared Bleznick, and previous PGT PLO Series champion Samuli Sipila.

, having started the hand with 310,000. Bleznick called on the button with Q J J 10 and a covering stack.
At this point, Sipila was a 65% favorite to win the hand, according to the Card Player Poker Odds Calculator.
The flop came down J J
10, giving Bleznick quads. Sipila checked his pocket aces, which also held a diamond blocker, and Bleznick immediately fired in 25,000. Sipila called and the turn brought the disastrous A, giving him the best possible full house.
“It’s just a matter of how the money goes in, not if the money goes in,” two-time bracelet winner Alex Livingston said on the livestream.
Sipila checked again and Bleznick bet 35,000. Sipila would need the last ace in the deck on the river to actually win the hand, but thought he was in great shape as he raised to 85,000. Bleznick simply called and the river brought the 5.
Sipila looked stone-faced as he considered his options, eventually announcing that he was all in. That received an immediate call and Bleznick showed him the bad news. The Finnish player exited the PokerGO Studio featured table and Bleznick raked in a pot of 635,000.

Bleznick went on to finish fourth in the event for $450,000, following his $1.3 million victory in 2023. He’s also coming off a WSOP bracelet win this summer in the $50,000 high roller which was worth $2 million.
The tournament attracted 42 runners for a $4.2 million prize pool. High-stakes standout Seth Davies was the last man standing, earning his second SHRB title in a row. He banked $1.5 million, adding to the $3.2 million he earned in the SHRB Cyprus event.
While Sipila may not have reached the money in this one, he did cash three times in the PLO Series. That included a runner-up finish in the $25,000 championship event for $310,000. He also recorded two wins at Triton Poker Montenegro in May for a total of $1.4 million.
