Acsa has advised that its fuel system is now fully operational. At 14h00 this afternoon (October 9), it released an update stating that fuel trucks were on their way to the apron.
“Operations are currently back to normal and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused,” Acsa said.
At approximately 10h00 this morning (October 9), airlines were alerted to a technical issue affecting the airport’s fuelling infrastructure, which meant that the airport was unable to provide fuel to aircraft. This resulted in widespread delays, with several domestic and regional flights affected, as reported by Travel News.
