Travelport will offer China Eastern Airlines’ New Distribution Capability content under the terms of a new multi-year agreement, the technology company announced on Wednesday (8 January).
“This agreement marks an important step in our journey toward NDC adoption, allowing us to scale and encourage its use across agencies and travel retailers,” said Fu Jian, VP, digital transformation and business management, department of marketing and sales at China Eastern Airlines.
Travelport did not specify a date when the NDC content would become available. China Eastern is one of China’s three major carriers and a member of the SkyTeam Alliance.
