Taldeok Camp (Sojang) appeared for the first trial in the case involving the two BTS members. The YouTuber denied all the accusations, claiming that the videos about the K-pop idols were created in the “public interest”.

BIGHIT MUSIC along with BTS’ V and Jungkook filed a defamation case against Sojang (Park Joo Ah) for producing false facts about the two and spreading them online. This helped her earn massive profits too. BIGHIT MUSIC sued the content creator, revealing that the music label had also in 2002 and 2023 filed a case against her claiming damages for defamation, business obstruction and unlawful actions for V and Jungkook.

BTS said in a statement, “We are filing a lawsuit for damages for false information and infringement of personal rights.” Currently, BIGHIT MUSIC is seeking reparations for damages worth 90 million won ($66,100).

During the hearing, Sojang’s team rejected all allegations stating, “While we acknowledge the video production itself, considering the method and content, it is only just opinion and is not defamation by revealing false information.”
