Poker content has never been more plentiful, with major poker companies and standalone individuals throwing new stuff at us via platforms such as YouTube and Twitch on a weekly basis.
In a sea of great poker content, 888poker’s YouTube video series and podcast dubbed 888Ride has been a massive success, bringing us a unique insight into the lives and careers of some of poker’s most respected individuals.
Originally launched in 2017, 888Ride has thus far brought us dozens of interviews hosted by legendary poker commentator and host David Tuchman with some of the most prolific personalities in the industry.
From poker’s top crushers like Daniel Negreanu and Phil Galfond to people who helped shape the poker world like Chris Moneymaker and new poker superstars like Nik Airball and Alexandra Botez, 888Ride has been one of the most insightful poker programs we have seen in a while.
Huge Success on Social Media Platforms
888poker has always been one of the most innovative companies in the industry and in 2017 they decided to try a new model of content creation, giving birth to 888Ride.
The video series took a unique approach, with David Tuchman interviewing his guests in a moving vehicle instead of the usual studio environment.
The popular poker host takes his guests on rides across Las Vegas and Los Angeles, acting as a would-be Uber driver, while asking all the important questions on the go.
The shiny silver Cadillac Escalade that Tuch drives for the purposes of the videos makes for a great show and makes each episode that much more exciting for the viewers.
The general reception for 888Ride has been amazing thus far, with the videos amassing over 2.1 million views and each individual video having tens of thousands of views on its own.
The interviews have been able to bring us some of the most unique insights into the lives of poker pros thus far, and 888Ride will now continue as a podcast, as 888poker seeks to further improve upon the great success of its popular show.

#1 — Daniel Negreanu
One of the best 888Ride episodes ever created came just recently, as David Tuchman took none other than Daniel Negreanu on a ride and asked him a series of questions that the poker world wanted answers to.
Daniel’s interview touched on his formative years in Toronto and Las Vegas, the people who helped him come up in the game, as well as the many haters he has in the poker world.

#2 — Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb has become one of the most popular poker players in the world thanks to his incredible success in the multi-table tournament arena, both online and live.
The six-time WSOP bracelet joined David for an episode of 888Ride and gave detailed insights into the way he came up in online poker and became one of the first multi-tablers and the ways he used to exploit his opponents with innovative plays before they were a thing.
If you want to learn how Shaun Deeb learned to play poker at a high level before solvers existed and how he intuitively solved some of the problems other players were struggling with, make sure to watch his 888Ride interview:
#3 — Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker is another household name in the poker world that joined 888Ride and opened his heart on some important topics.
As you would expect, the interview is heavily focused on Chris’ WSOP Main Event victory, but also touches on a number of other questions and issues.
Watch Chris Moneymaker discuss how poker was before 2003, what his big win meant for him, and how the money changed the life for him and his family back in the day:
#4 — Jennifer Tilly
There are only so many celebrities that people outside of poker would recognize who show up at the poker tables regularly, and Jennifer Tilly is easily one of the most famous ones.
In 2019, David Tuchman took the renowned Hollywood actress on an 888Ride and offered her a chance to win $500 by answering a series of questions during the ride.
As upbeat as ever, Tilly answered all the questions correctly, while also giving some great answers and having tons of fun with Tuch throughout the ride.
Jennifer’s interview is also the most watched episode of 888Ride, so check it out below and get more of an insight into what drives Tilly in poker and more:
#5 — Phil Hellmuth and Maria Ho
Phil Hellmuth might just be the biggest name in the poker world, while Maria Ho is one of the most famous and successful ladies in the game.
Hellmuth and Ho joined 888Ride for a special episode during the 2019 edition of the WSOP and answered a series of trivia questions as Tuch drove them across Las Vegas.
The trivia questions ranged from those directly related to poker to broader ones and the team eventually ended up losing Tuch’s challenge but getting Mexican food instead.

A part of the new group of poker players who have emerged in the LA area in recent years and dominated the high stakes poker scene, Nik Airball has become a poker legend nearly overnight.
Joining 888Ride, Airball talked about his appearances on Hustler Casino Live, his heads up match with Matt Berkey, and controversies surrounding some of these games.
Nik touched on Garrett Adelestein and their relationship, the infamous J4 hand with Robbi Jade Lew, and a variety of other questions including how he got the money to play the games he’s been playing.

#7 — Brian Rast
Although there are still those in the poker world who don’t know too much about him, Brian Rast is one of the most iconic characters in the world of high stakes poker.
Recently inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame, Rast joined 888Ride years before that and discussed both his poker career and a number of other side-hustles he is famous for.
One of the most iconic parts of the interview is his look back at a $600,000 prop bet with Dan Bilzerian and Bill Perkins that had him bike 300 miles from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in just 48 hours, which he was able to complete and collect the money.
Check out the Brian Rast 888Ride interview and find out more about legendary prop bets and some of the more behind-the-scenes happenings of the high stakes poker world.
#8 — Doug Polk
It seems like when poker content is concerned, Doug Polk’s name simply can’t be left out of the picture, even when it’s not his own content we are talking about.
Doug Polk was one of the first guests on 888Ride back in the day and the interview came much before many of his recent exploits in the poker world, including his taking over one of the biggest poker rooms in Texas.
If you want a look at a slightly younger and less experienced Doug Polk, the 888Ride interview with the legendary heads up crusher should be a fun watch, and it includes some fun stories from Doug’s professional life but also his younger days before poker.
#9 — Phil Hellmuth
Long before he did the trivia episode with Maria Ho, Phil Hellmuth joined 888Ride for a standalone interview in 2017.
At the time, Hellmuth held “only” 14 WSOP bracelets but was every bit as self-confident and sure of himself as ever.
Phil shared the secrets of his success, the reasons he continues playing poker every WSOP and the ambition that drives him to show up and play his best every time.
Take a look at one of the early episodes of 888Ride and have a listen to a younger and a slightly less successful Poker Brat to find out if much has changed over the years.
#10 — Joe Ingram
Joe Ingram has been one of the biggest poker personalities for some years, much thanks to the detailed poker content he’s posted on his YouTube channel.
Ingram came up as an online poker player, dominating “The Great Game of Pot Limit Omaha” and discussed both his ascent in the poker world and his reasons behind getting into content.
Since his interview, Joey has blown up to become an even bigger star in the poker industry, but his appearance on 888Ride gives us an insightful look into who he was when he was only just coming up.
