Stanley H. Eaton, 92, of Hudson, died on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA. He was born on October 30, 1931 in Nashua, NH, the son of the late Albert and Eva (Smith) Eaton.

Stanley was a lifelong Hudson resident. The house he lived in for his entire life was built by his father and grandfather over one hundred years ago. Stanley is a graduate of Nashua High School, class of 1950. Stanley served in United States Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean war where he served stateside. As a young man, Stanley was employed at Benson’s Wild Animal Farm. He later went on to work for Sanders, Irwin Toys Inc., and retired from Anheuser-Busch where he was a traffic dispatcher for 28 years.

Stanley volunteered for many years at the Hudson Police Department, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Southern NH Hospital.

Stanley enjoyed traveling, especially visiting family across the country. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid sports fan of all the New England teams. Stanley had a great love for all animals and was especially partial to cats.

Aside from his parents, Stanley is predeceased by his brother Albert Clifford Eaton and his sisters Doris, Ruth, Marion, and Alice.

Stanley is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves behind his special friend and caregiver Lynn Bolles.

Stanley will be missed for his great sense of humor and will be remembered as a loving family man.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 1:00pm at Westview Cemetery located on Burnham Rd., Hudson, NH 03051. Family and friends are invited to attend. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Stanley’s name may do so to the Nashua Humane Society or Bensons Park.
