Scott Roehrich Traylor Jr. of Wheeling WV died at home on Friday, January 31, 2025.
He was born 7/17/1954 in Springfield, MO to Scott R Traylor Sr. and Marianna Magner Traylor. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom Traylor.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No 422, A.F & A.M.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara West Traylor, his 2 children Laura Traylor and Brett (Erica) Traylor and his beautiful granddaughter Madeline Nelson. His sisters Ann (John) Petrushka, Tara (Ken) West and several nieces and nephews.
Scotty loved riding his bike and could be spotted on nearby trails nearly everyday. His greatest enjoyment was using his talents to sing and play guitar at local nursing homes with Mike and Gene in their band Ol’Friends. He cherished seeing residents smiling and dancing. He was strong, loyal, and cared for his family. The love he shared will live on.
At his request, there will be no services but the family is planning an outing at Scott’s favorite Mexican restaurant this spring.
