Ruscitti’s win in Event #15 still under investigation
Also now posted are the full results from Event #15, $500 NL Hold’em PKO (progressive knockout), the event where Michigan’s Kevin ‘GR4ND_THEFT’ Ruscitti was publicly accused by other Michigan players of using RTA, which would be a violation of the site’s rules.
The group posted on Facebook that it had sent evidence to the WSOP weeks earlier, and in the wake of Ruscitti’s win and the public outcry that followed, the WSOP has also posted a noncommittal response to the public claims, though investigations into such accusations can run for many weeks.
As for the PKO-formatted event’s results, Ruscitti topped Cherish ‘Bluffcharge’ Andrews for what stands, at least for now, as an official bracelet win. Ruscitti earned a combined $38,482.99 in prize plus bounties. Andrews collected a combined $22,842.88 for second, while JJ ‘artillu’ Lui earned a combined $10,11.88 for third.
The event’s 426 total entries — 252 unique players who also contributed 174 re-entries, built a $191,700 prize pool. Half of that, or $92,610, was paid out as finish prizes to the top 72 players, while the other half was distributed as knockout bounties.
