From Mark Searles, StormTeam10 Chief Meteorologist:

A quiet night ahead thanks to an area of high pressure building into the northeast. Temperatures cool into the 50s for most communities by the time the sun rises. However, there isn’t much sun in the forecast this weekend as mid and upper-level clouds fanning out from the remnants of Helene blanket Southern New England. There is a slim chance for a spot sprinkle on Saturday morning along the south coast of Rhode Island, but the rest of the region will remain dry. Overall, decent enough weather to get outside and partake in any fall activities.

Our weather pattern is calm through the beginning of the upcoming work week. Storm Team 10 will be keeping a close eye on the potential for precipitation on Wednesday.
