Mystery Bounty Tournaments Set to Make Their COOP Debut

For the first time in the history of the COOP festival in the North American markets, PokerStars will be introducing mystery bounty events to the schedule.

The operator has only features mystery bounty poker occasionally across its international markets, thus far, making sure that the prestige and allure of these events remain unchanged, and attracting huge masses of players.

We can expect more of the same when the festival’s four mystery bounty events play out on September 22 and 30, the only two days you will have a chance to play this particular knockout tournament format during this year’s COOP.

The key mystery bounty event on all four platforms will be the $100 Mystery Bounty Championship, which starts on September 22 at 06:00 pm and features a massive $100k guarantee.

The same day, players will have a chance to play a $20 Mini Mystery Bounty with guarantees ranging between $20k and $25k depending on the market, and the $500 HR Mystery Bounty Championship with a guarantee of $75k across the board.

The mystery bounty action will wrap up on the final day of the festival with a $50 Mystery Sendoff event, which will feature more modest guarantees between $12.5 and $20k depending on the platform you play on.

In total, the mystery bounty events will pay out just under 10% of the entire guaranteed prize pool of the COOP series across all four platforms, making for a significant part of the overall schedule, with each event expected to shatter the guaranteed prize pool and pay out some hefty mystery bounty rewards to the lucky winners.

Win Your NAPT Gold Pass in COOP Main Events

The COOP series will be running on all North American PokerStars platforms just under two short months before the start of NAPT Las Vegas festivities at the luxurious Resorts World Las Vegas, and the operator will be handing out a number of NAPT Gold Passes to the winners of the key events across the festival.

For starters, the champion of each $300 COOP Main Event will land the valuable NAPT Las Vegas package worth $10,000 on top of their first-place prize, making the win that much sweeter and more valuable. In the mixed NJ/MI market, both the champion and the runner-up in the Main Event will win an NAPT Gold Pass each.

For those who find the Main Event slightly out of their price range, PokerStars will also be giving out NAPT Las Vegas Gold Passes to the champions of each $50 Mini Main Event, making it unbeatable value for all the lower stakes players out there.

Keep in mind that the Main Event, Mini Main Event, and other Championship events will all feature plenty of satellites along the way, with buyin points as low as $1 available to give everyone a chance to take part in this year’s massive COOP festivities.

Championship Events for All Major Tournament Formats

Whether you enjoy playing PKOs, mystery bounties, super turbos, high rollers, or PLO tournaments, this year’s COOP has a Championship event with your name on it.

Over the course of two weeks, the series will run a grand total of 21 Championship events, covering all popular tournament poker formats and offering a variety of entry points between $100 and $2,500.

With millions of dollars set to be payed out across the various Championship tournaments, players will have a chance to compete in large fields and showcase their prowess in different game formats, with eventual winners walking away with hefty prizes.

Satellite tournaments to all Championships will be running in the days preceding them, giving even players with limited bankrolls a real chance to compete against the very best for as little as $1.
