Hey, everyone. I’m Kyle Anderson, PokerNews ambassador and Ontario resident. Here is an update on everything that’s happened in the poker world in Ontario in the last month.
Remember, ON players can legally play real money poker in Ontario, so PokerNews has come up with a list of the very best online poker sites in the Canadian province. Access real poker sites and play different games with poker players within the state.

Live ON Poker News
Casino Niagara hosted their $1,000 buy-in Fall Main Event from October 15th to 18th. Coming out on top for a $77,000 payday was Sharbel K. Do keep an eye on for their Winter Main Event slated to happen in early 2025.
In the meantime, Casino Niagara is hosting its $275 buy-in tournaments every Wednesday where the last winner received $8,900. If you’re interested in tournament poker, you might want to think about checking them out as they’re drawing some big fields.
Pickering Casino Resort is also offering poker tournaments every Tuesday. We have the schedule down below, but they are offering a wide range of buy-ins and various different tournament structures every Tuesday as well as offering cash games from $1-$3 all the way up to $5-$10.
Caesars Windsor is hosting their Legacy Poker Tournament. It is a $2,000 buy-in running November 29-December 1. They are running satellites for $460 starting November 16th, 20th, 23rd and 27th.
Caesars Windsor is also hosting their weekly tournaments every Friday and Sunday. If you’re interested in more information check out the schedule below.

PokerStars ON will likely be hosting their Fall Fest this November. Details haven’t been released yet, but last year the Fall Fest hit PokerStars from November 17-27 and there was $550K in guarantees. The action includes daily PKO tourneys, Freerolls, and more. Do keep an eye out for more information
You may also want to check out Global Poker‘s Eagle Cup Series. It’s one of their biggest series of the year with a ton of prizes guaranteed. They have a bunch of tournaments running every day. It is an awesome free-to-play social poker site where there is a ton of great prizes to be won.
At NAPT Las Vegas we will have Ontario’s own Steve Maddison competing in the NAPT $5,300 Main Event. Steve won a Gold Pass via the CNE Second Chance Freeroll and will be competing in his biggest buy-in ever. Do check out the interview I conducted with him below.
