Online Gambling in NJ: The Revenue Numbers
As stated above, NJ online gambling providers reported revenue of $198.4m in August, which represents an increase of 28% from the same period in 2023 (total revenue: $155.3m).
This is in sharp contrast to somewhat slow growth for land-based casinos, with the nine NJ casino operators showing a smaller increase of 4.9% from August 2023.
Slots and table games remain the most popular online gambling products, with over 98% of all online casino revenue attributed to these games1.

Sportsbook betting dropped by 34.7% compared to August 2023, which includes wagering in casinos, at racetracks, and via casino partners3.
