It looks like the Gallagher brothers have booked two Australian cities, Sydney and Melbourne, for their reunion tour.

The general ticket sale became a worldwide frenzy, with 10 million fans from 158 countries queuing up online to try and snap up the coveted tickets.

They said at the time that there would be additional dates, now the word from NME, the music industry bible in the UK, is that includes two stadium shows Down Under.

And nominations have been announced for this year’s ARIA Awards.

Leading the pack with eight nominations is Sydney indie rock duo Royal Otis and hot on their heels is Dom Dolla with six nominations.

He’s up against The Kid Laroi and Troye Sivan for Song of the Year also.

And Kylie Minogue has five nominations, including Best Solo Artist, Best Pop Release, Best Independent Release, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

That is quite the swag, Ms Minogue is currently gearing up for her Tension Tour and new album, Kylie scored her first ARIA Award in 20 years, just last year, thanks to the runaway success of the mega-hit Padam Padam.

This year’s ARIA ceremony will be held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion November 20 and will be broadcast live on Stan, with highlights that evening right here on Nine and 9Now.

Finally, Kelly Clarkson’s obviously been taking her Oprah pills, surprising her audience with a free trip to Queensland.

And it is all thanks to Bluey.

Melanie Zanetti, who is the voice of Bluey’s mum, Chilli, was on The Kelly Clarkson Show for the special surprise, where Clarkson revealed everyone in the audience was getting flights for two to Australia, four nights accommodation, new luggage and tickets to Bluey’s World in Brisbane included.

Bluey is huge in the US, so this will be brilliant for Queensland tourism.
