John Brian Shepherd
John Brian Shepherd appeared Thursday in the Circuit Court of Tyler County in preparation for a trial to begin August 19, 2024, for the following charges: Sexual Assault in the First Degree; eight counts of Sexual Abuse by a Guardian; two counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree; one count of Sexual Abuse by a Parent, and one count of Incest. Shepherd was currently on a posted bond release with a condition of home confinement. Shepherd cut his bracelet after court and absconded in his mother’s 2016 Silver KIA Sportage bearing WV Registration N3W649. Shepherd’s direction of travel is unknown.
