Lufthansa enhances multimodal offer in South Korea

Must read

Lufthansa Group now offers flight check-in services at Seoul Station City-Airport Terminal to boost its intermodal offering for travellers in South Korea.

The service will allow travellers to check-in for flights, drop their bags and complete immigration procedures at Seoul’s main train station prior to arriving at the airport.

The Germany-based aviation giant is the only foreign airline group offering such services to travellers in South Korea, according to the carrier. The move follows its recent intermodal partnership with the country’s primary rail operator Korail, which provides Lufthansa customers with high-speed rail connections to eight destinations – Busan, Dongdaegu, Gwangju, Ulsan, Pohang, Yeosu, Mokpo and Jinju – in one ticket.

Lufthansa Group airlines currently operate 17 weekly flights between Europe and South Korea, including Swiss’ newly launched service between Zurich and Seoul.
