A fire next to the track in west London is creating long delays on the London Overground.
The blaze, between South Acton and Acton Central stations is causing disruption to services running between Richmond and Acton Central.
National Rail has warned that trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 4.45pm.
Earlier on Wednesday, trains from London Euston were hit by half-hour delays due to a points failure in north-west London.
Services between Euston and key stations such as Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street and Glasgow Central have been disrupted by the issue near Wembley Central.
Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway and Southern services were been disrupted.

Severe delays on District and Metropolitan Lines

There are currently severe delays on the District Line between Richmond and Turnham Green due to an earlier fire alert.
There are also severe delays between Aldgate and Wembley Park on the Metropolitan Line due to an earlier customer incident at King’s Cross.
Train cancellations have also created minor delays on the Jubilee Line and on the Central Line, between Leytonstone and Hainault via Newbury Park.

Lines have reopened following an earlier points failure near Wembley Central.
As the service recovers, trains running between London Euston and Watford Junction may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Some London Northwestern Railway trains are also affected.

There are severe delays on the London Overground between Stratford and Richmond as well as to Clapham Junction while Transport for London deal with a trespasser on the track at Gospel Oak.
Tickets are being accepted on London Underground via reasonable routes.
Travellers told to use alternative routes after points failure

Southern has told customers they will need an alternative route if they are travelling between Shepherd’s Bush and Watford Junction in either direction on Wednesday.
It has told travellers to leave up to 30 minutes of extra time to complete journeys.

Reduced service on the DLR as TfL prepares for new trains
