Latest High Roller Victors From European Poker Tour Prague Festival

The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague festival features a total of 43 events from Dec. 8-15, with nine high-stakes tournaments sporting five-figure buy-ins among them. The first high roller of the series was won by Andras Nemeth. The results from the second and third EPT Prague high rollers can be found below.

2024 EPT Prague €12,300 No-Limit Hold’em Cuatro Knockout Bounty

Yauheni TsiareshchankaJust 11 entries were made in the €12,300 cuatro knockout no-limit hold’em bounty event. As a result, the tournament fell short of qualifying for Card Player Player of the Year points.

The $98,077 prize pool was split up amongst just two finishers, with Yauheni Tsiareshchanka coming away with the title and top payout of $63,600 in the end. This was the first live tournament title for the Belarusian, who now has over $314,000 in recorded earnings to his name.

Steve O’Dwyer finished second for $34,477. This was the 300th career cash for the American-born resident of Ireland, with more than $46.2 million in total earnings across those scores. That is good for 14th place on poker’s all-time money list.

2024 EPT Prague €20,000 No-Limit Hold’em

Thomas Santerne Thomas Santerne won his second EPT high roller title of 2024 by taking down the €20,000 buy-in event in Prague, topping a field 15 total entries to earn $185,500 and 144 POY points. The French high stakes player’s earlier victory came in the €50,000 event at EPT Paris back in February, which was good for a $960,638 payday.

Santerne now has more than $4.7 million in total cashes to his name. The largest came when he finished second in a $100,000 buy-in Triton Montenegro tournament for over $1.7 million.

The top three finishes took home a slice of the $302,000 prize pool in this event, with Nikita Kuznetsov earning $21,200 as the third-place finisher and Morten Klein $95,400 as the runner-up. Both of those players also cashed in the €10,200 mystery bounty event won by Nemeth just a couple of days earlier.
