Netherlands-based carrier KLM is set to expand its intercontinental network with three new services between Amsterdam and San Diego (US), Georgetown (Guyana) and Hyderabad (India).
The new direct route to San Diego will operate three times weekly from 8 May 2025, and will mark the carrier’s 22nd connection between Amsterdam and North America. Flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with Boeing 787-9 aircraft that feature business, premium and economy cabins.
The Amsterdam-Georgetown route, meanwhile, will commence on 4 June 2025 with two weekly flights operated by Airbus 330-200 aircraft. This will include a stopover in Sint Maarten on the outward journey.
Three weekly flights will also connect the Netherlands hub directly to Hyderabad from 2 September 2025. Flights on the new route, the carrier’s fourth into India, will take off on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
