Joseph Anthony Iozzo, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Born in Boston, Massachusetts. Joseph was the beloved son of the late Joseph J. Iozzo and Mary Iozzo (LoConte).

Joseph was married to Patricia Delcore with whom he had recently celebrated their 64th anniversary on May 21, 2024.

He was a proud graduate of East Boston High School, class of 1957. He also proudly served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. Joseph had a fulfilling career, retiring from Vicor, Inc. in Andover, MA as a Master Tool Maker. Prior to Vicor, he worked for Alpha Industries and TRG as a Manufacturing Manager. After living in East Boston for 33 years the family moved to Wilmington, MA and they resided there for 34 years. Finally, moving to Nashua, NH in his retirement years.

A passionate hockey enthusiast, Joseph loved playing hockey and played for over 50 years. He played in several countries, including Iceland, Norway and Ireland. Following his playing career, he was a dedicated member of the Southern New Hampshire Scoundrels Hockey League. His happiest moments were spent with his family, especially his great-grandson Ellington Pease. He also found much enjoyment in cooking and photography.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Joseph J. Iozzo and wife Antoinette Iozzo of Nashua, NH, his granddaughter Angela Iozzo of Nashua, NH, and his great-grandson Ellington Pease. He is also survived by his dear Uncle Libertore “Al” Loconte of East Boston, MA and his dear Aunt Mildred Mele (LoConte) of Revere, MA, and all of his brother and sister in-laws of the Delcore family. In addition, he is lovingly survived by his many cousins, nephews and nieces of the Iozzo, LoConte and Delcore families.

Visiting hours Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 3-7PM and Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10AM-12PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA.
