The 2024 World Poker Tour World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas is nearing its end. The marquee main event wrapped up on Saturday night, with Scott Stewart capturing the $2.6 million top prize. While that event played out, several other big tournaments also crowned champions. Below is a look at the results from those contests.
WPT World Championship $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em $3 Million GTD
A total of 1,570 entries were made in the $3,000 no-limit hold’em event that ran from Dec. 18-21, easily surpassing the $3 million guarantee to build a final prize pool of $4,317,500. The top 195 finishers made the money, with six-figure scores for the final seven.
In the end, Adam Hendrix and Ian O’Hara struck a heads-up deal that resulted in Hendrix earning the top payout and the trophy. Hendrix walked away with $629,000 for the win, a new high score for the Alaskan poker pro. He was also awarded 1,620 Card Player Player of the Year points, enough to catapult him into 35th place in the 2024 POY standings presented by Global Poker. This was his second title and eighth final-table finish of the year.
Hendrix now has more than $7.7 million in lifetime earnings. O’Hara also secured his largest career cash, walking away with $541,246. His lifetime haul grew to over $4.9 million.
Other notables that ran deep included WPT champion Qing Liu (13th), reigning World Series of Poker main event champion Jonathan Tamayo (12th), WPT champion Justin Young (10th), and rising tournament star Jeremy Becker (5th). This was the 27th POY-qualified score of the year for Becker, which is tied with Ari Engel for the most of any players on the circuit. Becker now sits in 16th place thanks to his impressive consistency.

WPT World Championship $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Six Max $500K GTD
Ren Lin is closing out 2024 with a flurry of deep runs. The top POY contender has made the money in 11 live events since the start of November, including making five final tables. Just a day removed from a second-place finish in a $5,000 turbo bounty event at the WSOP Paradise, Lin managed to travel all the way from The Bahamas to Las Vegas and emerge victorious in the $3,000 six-max no-limit hold’em event at this festival.
Lin earned $180,000 and 900 POY points for his second title and 23rd final-table finish of the year. He now sits in seventh place on the leaderboard heading into the final week of the year.
The tournament drew 373 entries to more than double the $500,000 guarantee. The $1,025,750 prize pool was split up amongst 47 players that cashed, including bracelet winner Cherish Andrews (19th), bracelet winner Shawn R. Daniels (12th), WPT champion and bracelet winner Ryan Tosoc (10th), 2024 Borgata Winter Poker Open champion Alex Queen (6th), five-time bracelet winner Calvin Anderson (5th), and bracelet winner Angel Guillen (3rd).
Craig Mason earned $156,455 as the runner-up, the second-largest tournament score on his resume.

WPT World Championship $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Seniors Championship $500K GTD
There are two seniors events on this series’ schedule, both with $500,000 guarantees. While the $10,000 buy-in seniors high roller is ongoing, the $1,100 buy-in wrapped up on Dec. 19.
Glenn Gillam overcame a field of 939 total entries, earning $112,117 for the win. This was far and away his largest score on the tournament circuit, blowing away the $8,220 he secured for a 26th-place showing in the 2021 WSOP super seniors event.
Several highly accomplished players ran deep, including Qing Liu (22nd), bracelet winner Allyn Shulman (18th), two-time bracelet winner Barry Shulman (13th), and WPT and bracelet winner James Calderaro (5th). This score puts Calderaro’s career earnings at nearly $6.2 million.

WPT World Championship $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Seniors $500K GTD
Keith Lehr came out on top of a 127-entry field in the $10,000 seniors high roller event, earning $331,787 for the win.
This was the fourth-largest score yet for the two-time bracelet winner from Bossier, Louisiana. The big payday sees him approaching $5 million in recorded earnings.
Only the top 15 finishers made the money in this event, with notable deep runs made by bracelet winner and WPT champion Scott Eskenazi (6th) and two-time bracelet winner Barry Shulman (5th). Shulman recorded four cashes at this festival, including a fifth-place finish in the $1,100 H.O.R.S.E. and his 13th-place showing in the earlier seniors $1,100 event. He now has almost $6.3 million in cashes across more than 300 in-the-money showings.

WPT World Championship $10,500 Pot-Limit Omaha
The final few days of this festival featured a trio of $10,000 buy-in events. While Lehr took down the restricted-entry seniors event, the two open-field offerings were both won by three-time bracelet winner Jim Collopy.
On Dec. 20 he came out on top of a field of 84 entries in the $10,500 pot-limit Omaha event, earning $209,628 and 480 POY points for the victory.
The final 11 cashed in this event, with bracelet winner James Chen (11th), bracelet winner Giuseppe Pantaleo (8th), two-time bracelet winner John Riordan (6th), and two-time bracelet winner Joao Simao (2nd) among those who secured a share of the $840,000
prize pool.

WPT World Championship $10,500 No-Limit Hold’em Eight Max
The day after taking down the PLO event, Collopy bested a field of 105 entries in the $10,500 no-limit hold’em eight-max tournament to add another $298,147 and 600 POY points.
This was his sixth title and 26th final-table finish of 2024. With 7,463 total points and more than $3.7 million in POY earnings, Collopy is now ranked eighth in the overall standings.
The top 13 players cashed in this event, each earning a piece of the $1,050,000 prize pool. Two-time bracelet winner Sam Soverel (13th), WPT champion Matthew Wantman (12th), Xuan Liu (10th), two-time bracelet winner Jesse Lonis (7th), and Joao Simao (4th) were among the notables who ran deep.
Lonis sits in third on the POY leaderboard, having won three titles and made 23 final tables in 2024. He accrued nearly $6.7 million across those scores this year.

WPT World Championship $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Progressive Bounty $300K GTD
The $300,000 guaranteed $3,000 progressive knockout event ended with 296 entries, which made for an $814,000 prize pool.
The final knockout of the tournament was secured by Matthew Sabia, who earned $92,056 and $69,500 in bounties to walk away with $161,556 in total prize money.
The Pennsylvania resident now has more than $1.2 million in earnings to his name after this, his third recorded tournament victory.
The top 39 finishers cashed, with big names like Arthur Morris (30th), David Coleman (15th), and Javier Gomez (6th) making deep runs.
