UK-based corporate travel management company ISON Travel has signed a multi-year agreement with Sabre to use its technology solutions to support its expansion into the US market.

The agreement includes ISON’s implementation of the Sabre Red 360 agency booking platform and Sabre’s Automation Hub, which automates various routine tasks for travel consultants, such as booking management, PNR documentation and schedule changes.

ISON extended its reach into the US earlier this year when it acquired Rhode Island-based agency Global Excellence.

Helen Cannon, founder and CEO of ISON Travel, said: “Combining our wealth of experience at ISON Travel and Sabre’s state-of-the-art technology is allowing us to progress our global expansion.

“The journey so far has been a great experience through our initial talks and then our face-to-face discovery meetings.”

Woking-based ISON Travel, which was founded by Cannon in 2013, also has operations in the UK, Middle East, India and the Philippines.

Richard Addey, Sabre’s senior regional director for northern Europe, said the technology firm was “committed to supporting” ISON’s expansion plans.

“By leveraging our advanced technology solutions and multi-source platform, we aim to enhance ISON’s operational efficiency, empowering its people to better meet the evolving needs of their clients,” he added.

ISON Travel was ranked as the 29th largest TMC in the UK in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024 with gross sales of £40 million last year.
