This year marks a significant milestone for Apple as the iPhone celebrates its tenth anniversary. The iPhone 16 is expected to be a standout product at the event. iPhone 16 model sizes
The iPhone 16 is expected to introduce significant updates to the lineup. The iPhone 16 Pro will increase to a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will measure 6.9 inches.
This is the first size upgrade for the Pro models in past several years. The standard iPhone 16 models will retain the same size as their predecessors but will feature minor design tweaks including new buttons.
Design and features
The iPhone 16 series will include several design changes including a vertical camera lens arrangement for the Pro models. Additionally, the Pro models are anticipated to feature a Tetraprism 5x optical zoom lens. The standard models will feature a new pill-shaped camera bump, housing the Wide and Ultrawide lenses.
Apple plans to add iPhone 16 models will the Action Button, previously exclusive to the Pro models, and a new “Capture Button” for photo and video capture, functioning similarly to a digital camera shutter button.
A-series chips
The iPhone 16 lineup will be powered by new A-series chips built on the N3E 3-nanometer node. While specific details remain scarce, improvements in efficiency and performance are expected.
