The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) hosted a distinguished prize distribution ceremony at the Pool Theatre, commemorating the outstanding achievements of fellows and employees in its annual sports competition series. Presided over by Director Prof. Raghvendra P. Tiwari and Secretary Shri Mehar Chand Negi, the event celebrated the exemplary spirit and sportsmanship of the IIAS community.
The competitions, held earlier this year, included a diverse range of sports, reflecting the Institute’s commitment to fostering an all-rounded physical education. Winners were recognized in various categories such as badminton, chess, table tennis, and several track and field events, underscoring the wide array of talents within the IIAS community.
