This exciting news comes just in time for the peak travel season, offering travellers a fantastic opportunity to explore the many wonders of Thailand. The visa-free policy, which was first introduced in November 2023 in a bid to boost tourism, has now been extended till further notice. Previously, visa-free entry was valid until November 11, 2024, but this extension provides more flexibility for planning that dream vacation.

Thailand’s Visa-Free Program

As per reports, 16.17 million Indian visitors travelled to Thailand till mid-October. Tourists from China, Malaysia, Russia and South Korea are also leading the charge, highlighting their importance to Thailand’s recovery from pandemic-induced travel restrictions.

Under this visa-free program, Indian citizens can enjoy a hassle-free entry into Thailand for a stay of up to 30 days without obtaining a visa beforehand. All you need is a valid Indian passport and a return ticket to ensure a smooth immigration process.
