Worldwide Rewards for Winning Countries
This year’s WSOP 2024 Online Series takes place exclusively on GGPoker across four territories. With players from each of the following territories: The Americas, Europe, Mediterranean, and Asia Pacific all competing, how well your international region or individual countries do could have a direct impact on whether you win big or not.
Each region’s tally of bracelet winners is important, with the winning region rewarding all participating bracelet event players with $3m in ‘Continental Flipouts’. These are only open to “bracelet-event participants who hail from the same continent as the event winners”. The top 10 countries in terms of overall results will reward players from their nations, too, with ten ‘Bracelet Standing Freerolls’ offering $1,000,000 in prizes to players belonging to those countries.
Qualifiers have already begun, with satellite players among the action from as little as $1 on GGPoker. Each of the 33 WSOP bracelet events will award a physical gold bracelet, too, so there is just as much prestige winning from home as there would have been for legends of the felt such as three-time 2024 WSOP bracelet winner and seven-time champion in his lifetime Scott Seiver.
Ambassador Daniel ‘Kid Poker’ Negreanu Hypes ‘Unforgettable’ Series
There are 33 bracelet events taking place between August 18 and September 30, with Daniel ‘Kid Poker’ Negreanu, a.k.a. GGPoker’s Global Ambassador is ready for the action.
“I am thrilled to unveil another exciting year of WSOP Online,” Canada’s most successful ever player said. “This series is not only an opportunity to compete for WSOP gold bracelets but also brings players from different regions together to showcase their skills. It’s a unique chance for the global poker community to participate in the most prestigious online series and create truly unforgettable poker experiences!”
All 33 tournaments take place exclusively on GGPoker, where the weekly GG MILLION$ series plays out each Tuesday night. The highlight of the series is undoubtedly the $5,000-entry WSOP Online Main Event, which has a spectacular $25,000,000 guarantee, and will be streamed exclusively on GGPoker.tv when it makes it to the final day of action. That will take place from 18:45 UTC on September 24.
Who’ll Take Bert Stevens Crown?
In 2023, the Belgian player Bert Stevens won the WSOP Online Series Main Event top prize for $2.78 million and streamed this victory on his YouTube channel as a dramatic finale saw the online crusher pick up another major title.
Other events are sure to thrill poker players of all levels too, with a variety of buy-ins and bumper guarantees across the board. The $10,300-entry GG MILLION$ High Roller event has a $10 million and closes the series as Event #33 on September 30. Before that, however, the $300-entry Gladiators of Poker event with a $2.5m guarantee $215-entry Mystery Millions has a $10m guarantee and a $1m top bounty.
Two other events will pique the interest of experienced WSOP players who know how busy these tournaments can get. The $400-entry Colossus and Plossus events will welcome NLHE and PLO players to the virtual felt respectively, with a $4m guarantee attached to the Colossus and a minimum of $1, on the line in the Plossus. With a raft of WSOP bracelet events to be won over the next six weeks, we can’t wait to find out who strikes gold.
