With the WSOP Online Bracelet Series having just wrapped up, GGPoker Ontario is already gearing up for its next big series to keep Ontario online poker grinders engaged.
The popular Bounty Hunters Series (BHS) returns, offering players a chance to earn bounties for knocking out their opponents — even if they don’t reach in the money.
Running from October 6 to October 28, this edition of the BHS boasts over CAD $1.5 million in guaranteed prize money, making it not only GGPoker’s largest Bounty Hunters Series but also the biggest bounty festival in the market. The prize pool will be spread across 105 tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from CAD $25 to $210.

As in previous editions, each tournament follows the progressive knockout (PKO) format, where players earn bounties for every elimination, and their bounty value increases with each knockout.
The only exception is the Main Event, which features the increasingly popular Mystery Bounty format. In this format, players start earning bounties only after reaching the money, with payouts ranging from the buy-in amount to as much as CAD $20,000. The total guarantee for the Main Event is set at CAD $200,000 and it will be played in a multi-flight format, offering several Day 1 flights, with a buy-in of CAD $105.

The Main Event is not the only tournament boasting six-figure guarantees. Two editions of the Ontario MILLION$ Bounty Edition each offer a CAD $100,000 prize pool for a budget-friendly buy-in of just CAD $50. The first edition wraps up on October 13, while the second runs on October 20. Like the Main Event, both tournaments follow a phased structure with multiple starting flights to accommodate players’ schedules.
The rest of the schedule includes a range of formats such as hyper-turbos, turbos, deepstacks, and double stacks. The series also features Omaholic tournaments, the Omaha version of bounty events.
This is the fourth time GGPoker has rolled out a Bounty Hunters Series in Ontario. While the first three editions offered CAD $1 million guarantees and featured more tournaments, this latest series ups the total prize pool with fewer events, making each tournament more prestigious in terms of the guarantee per event.
