THE Essex Chambers of Commerce are excited to announce Essex County Council as the headline sponsor of this year’s Festival of Business. Taking place at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Wednesday 13 November, the event will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts from across the county and beyond, to celebrate the vibrant innovation and talent in our region.

We are delighted to be collaborating with Essex County Council on this event, strengthening the relationship between private and public sector organisations to provide the best support possible for our thriving business economy.

In addition to this exciting sponsorship, we are thrilled to welcome Dame Prue Leith, one of the UK’s most esteemed chefs, authors, and television presenters, as our Keynote Speaker. Dame Prue Leith, known for her vibrant career in the culinary arts and her role as a judge on The Great British Bake Off, will share her insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, and the power of creativity in business.

Denise Rossiter, CEO of Essex Chambers of Commerce said: “We are proud to have Essex County Council as the headline sponsor. Their support underscores the importance of collaboration between local government and the business community in fostering economic development. We are equally honoured to have Dame Prue Leith joining us. Her remarkable career and entrepreneurial spirit will no doubt inspire and motivate our attendees.”

Councillor Tony Ball, Essex County Council Cabinet Member for Education Excellence, Lifelong Learning and Employability, said: “We are excited to sponsor this event. This year’s theme for the event on skills is of particular importance to us. We understand that businesses need sufficient skills locally to thrive. This is why we are working closely with the business community to ensure we can achieve this. Sponsoring an event like this helps us collaborate with local businesses and support them with their skills needs.”

The theme of this year’s festival is “Essex Has Talent” and will champion the outstanding business acumen demonstrated within the county in our biggest exhibition to date. The day will also bring together those looking to expand their talent pools or seeking exciting new career opportunities by at the dedicated Jobs Fair.

The Festival of Business is where success meets celebration. More than a business expo it is an event that applauds and showcases the tremendous talent we have in Essex. Make sure you’re a part of the celebrations.
