The European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Association (ECTAA) is set to host its Travel Protection Summit on 19 February 2025 at the Brussels Hilton Grand Place Hotel.
The summit will focus on one of the travel industry’s most critical issues — travel protection — and will explore both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) travel protection strategies.
Following a successful summit earlier this year that addressed payment issues in the travel sector, the 2025 edition of the ECTAA Travel Summit will examine the complexities surrounding travel protection, a key element of risk management that became particularly apparent during the global health crisis and continues to be influenced by factors such as macroeconomic instability, geopolitical tensions, and environmental risks.
Highlighting the significance of the summit, ECTAA President Frank Oostdam said travel protection is a cornerstone of trust and stability within the travel industry.
