Dylan Linde wins second WSOP bracelet

Must read

More results are in from the ongoing WSOP Online domestic bracelet series on WSOP.com‘s three-state (Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey) network. Three well-known pros captured bracelet gold in recent tourneys, including mixed-games specialist Dylan Linde, who returned to standard no-limit hold’em and walked away with the bracelet in Event #6, $500 NL Hold’em Ultra Deepstack.

Linde’s second career bracelet was part of a run of bracelet-winning performances by players who have been regular participants in live and online Circuit events in recent years. Linde has won three Circuit rings, the same as Anthony Huntsman, who won his first career bracelet in Event #5, $600 NL Hold’em 6-Max.

And in Event #7, $2,000 NL Hold’em BIG PKO (Progressive Knockout), Dave Alfa added his name to the list of first-time bracelet winners as well. Alfa has one Circuit win, and that was a major victory in 2019, when he took down the WSOP-C Choctaw Main Event.

Huntsman bags 6-max gold

Kansas native Anthony Huntsman, playing as ‘DonkeyFly‘, claimed victory in the $600 NLH 6-Max event, topping a 503-entry field to win $46,990.67. Huntsman busted David ‘ChegoSaudade’ Funkhouser to seal the win, leaving Funkhouser to collect $34,278.44 for second.

Third place and $25,043,36 went to Event #3 winner Tyler ‘GOFISH’ Hirschfeld, who has been on a tear in recent WSOP Online events. Besides his Event #3 win and this near-miss, Hirschfeld also won a bracelet in the Online Super Circuit Series, which is also running on WSOP.com.

Event #5’s 503 total entries – 265 buy-ins plus 238 re-entries – produced a $271,620 prize pool. 96 players earned a cash in this event.

Linde tops Ultra Deepstack

Dylan Linde‘s win in the Event #6 Ultra Deepstack tourney featured an unusual twist: For the second straight event, David ‘ChegoSaudada’ Funkhouser made the final heads-up duel but was denied the bracelet triumph. This time it was Linde, playing as ‘5bestrappers‘, who denied Funkhauser the win.

Linde collected $60,335.74 for outlasting the rest of the 717-entry field, while Funkhouser’s second straight runner-up finish was worth $43,557.75. Brett ‘Gotcha1121’ Blackwood made the final three before busting and earned $32,265.00 for the deep run.

Event #6’s 717 total entries came from 400 unique entries, who also contributed a combined 317 re-entries to what became a $322,650 prize pool. The top 95 players made the money.

Alfa dominates $2K NLH Big PKO

Vegas-based pro Dave Alfa claimed his long-sought first bracelet win in Event #7, the $2,000 NLH ‘Big PKO’ event. Alfa, well-known for his aggressive style, parlayed that into a win in an event well-suited for his game. Alfa, playing as ‘WiseWolf‘ here, largely routed the field in this progressive-bounty event; his accumulated bounties alone, $44,488.68, were more than the combined prize payout and bounties collected by any other player in the event.

Alfa’s total haul for the tourney was $73,272.98, also including the $28,765.25 winner’s prize. Prior Circuit ring winner Brett ‘BeauPeaches’ Roberts was Alfa’s last bounty victim, and Roberts finished with a combined $44,395.56 in winnings for second place. Prior bracelet winner Michael ‘MadRiver’ Lavin finished third to collect a combined $27,960.70.

Event #7 drew 162 players to build a $299,700 prize pool. The top 30 finishers made the money.
