U.K.-based travel management company Diversity Travel, which specializes in travel for nonprofit organizations, has hired Reed & Mackay executive DeAnne Dale as general manager for its U.S. operations.
Diversity Travel has been building its presence in the U.S. for several years, first establishing a presence there in 2017 and acquiring Florida-based World Class Travel the next year. In her new role, Dale will be leading the U.S. team to continue that growth as the nonprofit sector “faces increased pressure to maximize resources [while] meeting strict audit and compliance requirements tied to funding,” according to the TMC.
Dale was Reed & Mackay’s SVP of global strategy and consulting for nearly nine years and has worked in the corporate travel industry for about 25 years, including roles with TSI International, Short’s Travel Management and Travelocity Business. Diversity Travel chief commercial officer in a statement said Dale “has a proven track record of expanding market presence and leading major initiatives to drive brand awareness and sales growth.”
