CT Travel Group has promoted Clare Collins to become its new chief operating officer as the company plans an “aggressive” growth strategy.

The UK-based travel firm, which owns CT Business Travel and CT Groups, Conferences and Incentives, said Collins would oversee the daily operations of all four of its travel brands.

In a statement, the group said it would be making “significant structural investments at all levels of the business”, including more appointments to strengthen its teams.

Collins first joined CT Travel Group in 2004 and became a co-owner of the business in 2012. She previously held the role of manager director of corporate travel.

“Our people are at the heart of CT Travel Group, embodying a unique CT DNA that fosters a culture of kindness, personable relationships, innovation and service excellence,” said Collins.

“I have always championed investing in the next generation of industry experts, and I believe that collectively, we will accelerate our sales-driven strategy, leveraging the strong partnerships we have created over the past 35 years with our clients, our suppliers and our people.”

Earlier this year Collins was appointed to the board of TMC consortium Focus Travel Partnership.

CT Business Travel was ranked as the 28th largest TMC in the UK in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024.
