Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter is among the athletes selected for a new venture from EA Sports.

The company on Thursday announced GEN / EA Sports, which will begin with four stars “who are already carving their own paths and influencing sport, in, and out of, the game.”

Hunter is joined by F1 Academy driver Bianca Bustamante, Real Madrid forward Endrick and Angel City FC forward Alyssa Thompson.

“GEN / EA Sports will amplify their voices, engaging them especially around important moments in sport and their own lives, while also leveraging their unique perspectives as elite athletes, creators and community leaders to positively influence the experiences delivered by EA Sports,” the company said.

Hunter, who’s one of the cover stars for EA Sports College Football 25, continues to stand out as a singular talent in the college game. Through the Buffs’ first two contests, he has 242 receiving yards and three touchdowns along with six tackles and one pass breakup.

Bustamante is seventh in the F1 Academy driver standings with 57 points. She had two wins and four podium finishes on the circuit en route to finishing seventh in 2023.

Having originally agreed to a transfer in December 2022, Endrick made his long-awaited move to Real Madrid this summer. He scored his first goal for the club in second-half stoppage time of a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid on Aug. 25.

Thompson is in her second season with Angel City. She made history as the first high schooler selected first overall in the NWSL draft. The 19-year-old earned her first senior cap with the United States women’s national team in a 2-1 loss to England in October 2022.
