Good evening! It was another breezy afternoon with low humidity. Under a blend of sunshine and clouds, we made our way into the upper-70s. Your evening starts out quiet, but as a disturbance approaches from the northwest by late evening, a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will begin to pop up, mainly after 9pm. Some of these storms could produce some gusty winds, hail and brief heavy rain where they do hit and the highest chances will likely be in the northern half of the Local 12 News Viewing Area. Once those exit just after midnight, the rest of the night looks quiet. That said, we do see some spotty shower chances lingering into Wednesday as cooler air arrives. We only top out around 70 which is below normal for this time of the year. It will also be breezy again on Wednesday. We finally fully dry out on Thursday & Friday but not for long as our next weathermaker bringing showers and storms as early as late Saturday afternoon and evening. Despite the rain, we warm this weekend back into the 80s. Rain and storm chances look to linger into Sunday and possibly even into early next work week, so enjoy the dry weather while we have it!
