Caesars Entertainmen has shared details of a $3.1m donation to dozens of national and local non-profit organisations through the company’s corporate giving platform, the Caesars Foundation.

This year’s grant includes continued support for organisations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America and a new partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation that aligns closely with the company’s pursuit of environmental sustainability through tree planting in forests and neighborhoods with the greatest need.

In addition to the Foundation grant, the company is celebrating a $1m gift to Boys & Girls Clubs of America through its Caesars Makes Change programme, with $827,110 directly supporting the national programme and the balance going to local clubs.

The Caesars Makes Change programme is now available in more than 40 destinations across the company’s gaming portfolio and offers casino guests the option to donate a portion of their cash payout to a charitable organisation when redeeming their slot tickets. The programme officially launched in May 2022.

Atthe same time, Caesars Entertainment has announced the signing of a definitive agreement to sell its intellectual property rights for the World Series of Poker brand to NSUS Group, a leading investment group in the igaming space known for successfully launching several groundbreaking ventures, including the innovative online poker room, GGPoker.

The transaction, valued at a total of US$500m, includes US$250m in cash and a $250m promissory note due five years after the transaction’s closing date.
