Boiler Room has a new owner: UK-based festival operator Superstruct Entertainment.
Superstruct has acquired the global music platform from ticketing firm DICE for an undisclosed sum. The news was announced today, January 15th. DICE purchased Boiler Room in 2021.
According to a press release, Boiler Room will “retain its identity” under Superstruct. DICE will remain Boiler Room’s official ticketing partner.
“As we turn 15 and enter our next stage of growth, we’re excited to be partnering with Superstruct for this chapter,” Boiler Room founder Blaise Belleville said. “We feel in good company with their roster of brands, they offer us new opportunities to grow, whilst understanding the importance of staying true to the authenticity that, at its core, is what makes Boiler Room special.”
Superstruct also owns Sónar Festival, Brunch Electronik and Flow Festival, among many other festivals. Last year, Superstruct itself was acquired by global investment firm KKR and later received funding from CVC, another major investment advisory firm.
