HELENA, Mont. – Due to the ongoing efforts to contain the Horse Gulch Fire near Canyon Ferry Lake the 2024 Carroll College Athletics Boat Poker Run has been canceled, but Carroll supporters still have an opportunity to help support the cause.
The annual Boat Poker Run is the only SAA event each year that directly impacts every student-athlete at Carroll College in the form of support for continuous athletic weight room improvements. Over 400 Carroll College student-athletes have access to and utilize the Athletic weight room, year-round. In an effort to help still provide the necessary upgrades to the facility, Carroll Athletics has opened an online donation portal for supporters from near and far to make a donation.
Donations to the cause will be shared this year. As a show of gratitude to those working diligently to contain the fire surrounding Canyon Ferry, half of all money donated will be directed toward the firefighting efforts on the Horse Gulch Fire. The other half will benefit the Carroll College Athletics Weight Room.
