Good Mix of Events on Offer
Last week, the WSOP Online bracelet schedule offered a solid mix of different events catering to different preferences. There was one ultra deepstack tournament earlier in the week, followed by PKO and 6-max events over the weekend.
Tuesday Event #6, the Ultra Deepstack, was the cheapest one on the menu, with the price tag of $400. This probably helped boost the numbers despite it taking place mid-week, as a total of 2,238 entries created the prize pool of $805,680.
In the end, the bracelet went to the hands of Russell Brooks, who pocketed $99,180 for his efforts.
Saturday was reserved for Event #7, a $500 NLHE PKO tournament, which ended up with 1,603 entries by the time the registration closed. This translated into the $721,350 prize pool and the first place money of $40,577. This amount went to Ilija Savevski, together with $44,200 he collected in bounties.
Finally, Event #8 on Sunday brought us over the magic line, becoming the first WSOP Online bracelet event with a prize pool of over a million. This was a $1,000 6-max event, and it ended up with 1,233 entries, for the total pot of $1,109,700.
The final prize of $153,249 went to the player with an alias ‘MikeMatusow,’ which created some confusion for keen observers. However, it turned out that this nick actually belongs to one Sungbin Ma and not Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow.
In Pennsylvania, there was one bracelet event on Sunday, a $500 Deepstack Turbo, which attracted 170 entries for the prize pool of $76,500. The win went to ‘KMILLER1979,’ who claimed a WSOP bracelet and $17,151 in cash for his efforts.

A Week of High-Rollers & Big Guarantees Ahead
The upcoming week is one of the biggest on the WSOP Online bracelet schedule, as there is a high-roller event coming up on Tuesday, June 18, and two big guarantee tournaments taking place on the WSOP Online and WSOP PA app on Sunday, June 23.
Event #9 on June 18 features the biggest buy-in of the online series thus far. Players who want to join the action will need to pay $3,200 for the privilege to compete in this No Limit Hold’em High Roller event.
On Saturday, June 22, $600 Event #10 — Monster Stack kicks off. With a large starting stack and 15-minute blinds, this one is ideal for players who want to get a lot of play for their buy-in.
However, Sunday, June 23, will certainly grab the attention of the player world. On the MI/NJ/NV WSOP Online platform, the $500 Mystery Bounty event with $1,000,000 guaranteed will get under way. With a huge prize promise and an exciting format, Event #11 should easily break its guarantee.
On the same day, WSOP PA will be hosting the only bracelet event with a guarantee. Event #4 comes with a promise of $100,000 and a very reasonable buy-in of $500.
