Alexander Michael Leskowitz, 28, passed away Thursday evening.
Alex was born in Altoona, a son of Bruce and Debbie (Boutiller) Leskowitz.
He is survived by his fiancee, Kaylee Lill; his parents; a brother, Maxwell; grandfather, Eugene Massaro; his beloved dog, Waylon, and cat, Reba.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Patricia Davinsizer and Doris Massaro and Robert Leskowitz Sr.
Alex was an avid hunter with a special love for pheasant and white tail deer hunting. He always had a knack for connecting that far-reaching pheasant shot or bagging that elusive buck. Over the years, Alex loved the countless hunts he went on with family and friends. He especially loved the hunts that included his uncle Bob, his Dad and his lifelong companion and brother, Max.
Alex so loved his family, especially his awesome fiancee, Kaylee, with her constant devoted support; along with the unwavering love and support of his amazing mother and beloved grandmothers.
He was always the first to jump in and help his family and friends. Whether it was one of the countless projects for his beloved grandparents or a stranger along the road with a flat tire … Alex was always there.
Alex will be horribly missed by his family. They gather great comfort knowing that he brought many people closer to God while praying for him over the years, and for that, Alex is now at peace.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Matt Hornberger officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
