Alex Foxen Wins His Second WSOP Bracelet in Online PLO Mystery Bounty!

Must read

Alex Foxen (cover image), the poker superstar from Huntington, New York, who now calls Las Vegas home, has added another piece of WSOP hardware to his trophy case! He took down the WSOP Online Event #17 – PLO $200K GTD Mystery Bounty 6-Max on WSOP.com for a cool $39,271 (including $19,207 in bounties), proving he can conquer both the nosebleed stakes and the online grind with equal ease.

Foxen, playing under the screen name “Serapis11,” faced off against fellow high-stakes legend Dan Smith in the heads-up play. Smith, a Poker Triple Crown winner with nearly $55.60 Million in career earnings, was also looking to add a second bracelet to his collection. But it was Foxen who emerged victorious, claiming his second WSOP bracelet. Smith had to settle for second place and $14,790 (including $243 in bounties).

This victory comes just weeks after Foxen narrowly missed out on another title at the WSOP Europe €25,000 NLH GGMillion€, where he finished runner-up to Italy’s Alessandro Pichierri.

Foxen’s first bracelet win was back in 2022 when he took down the WSOP Europe $250,000 Super High Roller for a career-best $4.50 Million! With this latest victory, he joins an elite group of players with multiple WSOP bracelets. And get this – his household now boasts a total of six bracelets, with his wife, Kristen (Bicknell) Foxen, holding four of her own – and is the all-time bracelet leader among women and almost made history at the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas this summer, finishing 16th for a career-best $600,000! Talk about a poker-power couple!
