Must read

Advantage Global Business Travel, the UK-based consortium of small and mid-sized travel management companies, is launching an advisory board.

The “high-powered” board will bring together subject matter experts to help drive the partnership’s “ambitious growth strategy and enhance support for members and partners”.

It will comprise members from across Advantage’s UK and global network and include representatives from across the business travel landscape, including aviation, technology and accommodation.

Already named on the board are TMC representatives Suzanne Horner, CEO of Gray Dawes, and James Beagrie, managing director of Meon Valley Travel.

“Through the creation of this advisory board, we will continually pressure-test our thinking, ensuring we take bold steps to positively disrupt the business travel sector alongside our members and partners,” said Andrea Caulfield-Smith, who joined Advantage Global Business Travel as managing director earlier this year.

“Over the coming weeks we will be reaching out to prospects who will be appointed to the advisory board for their knowledge and direct experience in problem solving and having a track record of providing insight, skill and subject matter expertise.”

Advantage Global Business Travel is part of the Advantage Travel Partnership whose members generate more than £15 billion in global sales annually. It was ranked the third-largest network in Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024.
