Bilyonaryo Manuel V. Pangilinan, a prominent figure in Philippine business and philanthropy, will share his insights on leadership and national progress at the upcoming annual general membership meeting of the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association Inc. on January 25.
The PMAAAIn invited Pangilinan as guest of honor and speaker, recognizing his significant contributions to key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and disaster response.
His ongoing support for initiatives that benefit the Filipino people aligns closely with the PMAAI’s mission to address the nation’s most pressing challenges.
During a recent courtesy visit in Pasig City, Pangilinan met with members of the PMAAI’s board of directors. This group included alumni such as Cav/Capt. Norsal D. Dimaporo PN ’94, Cav/PMGen. Magtanggol B. Gatdula (Ret)’76, and Cav/Gen. Ricardo A. David Jr. AFP (Ret) ’77, along with other distinguished individuals from the MVP Group, including Metro Pacific Investments Corp.’s director of Government and Public Affairs Atty. Mike Toledo, Meralco VP Joe R. Zaldarriaga, and PLDT Vice President Cav. Leo A. Gonzales ’02.
The meeting focused on the importance of public-private sector cooperation in advancing national development.
During the meeting, Pangilinan expressed deep respect for the dedication and sacrifices made by the PMA and its alumni. He acknowledged the essential role of the military in ensuring the country’s safety and stability, drawing inspiration from their example of service.
Pangilinan noted that the private sector, particularly the MVP Group, is motivated by the same sense of purpose in contributing to the welfare of the nation.
