The restored 15th-century castle has 98 guestrooms, including 42 suites and six lakeside chalets. The regal property also features a spa, multiple restaurants and bars, as well as a beach club.

World’s Best Bars: 2024 Spirited Award Winners
Alquímico, the groundbreaking Cartagena cocktail lounge renowned for its farm-to-bar concept, was named World’s Best Bar at the 18th annual Spirited Awards in New Orleans. If Alquímico’s history is any indication, Mexico City’s Handshake Speakeasy, which opened in 2021, can also look forward to a good run at the Spirited Awards. This year it won two major awards—Best International Bar Team and International Bartender of the Year for its charismatic bar director and co-owner Eric van Beek. On the domestic front, Allegory in Washington, D.C. took home two big awards. Kapri Johnson was named U.S. Bartender of the Year and Allegory also picked up a Spirited Award as the Best U.S. Hotel Bar.
