PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 30:

* Amber Dawn Powell, 509 Ward Place, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and trespassing and released on $500 bond.

* Deandre Dowdy, 1567 David St., Memphis, Tenn., was arraigned on charges of attempt to commit a felony (murder) and two counts of wanton endangerment and held on $150,000 bond.

* Richard Matthew-Paris Harmon III, 11550 Sanford Ave., Detroit, Mich., was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $1,000 bond.

* Christopher Lee Carter, 1 River Circle, Ravenswood, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $25,000 bond.

* Tyler Austin Hartley, 25 Kathys Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on five counts of wanton endangerment and held on $225,000 cash bond.

* Jason Daniel Graham, 4008 Eighth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Mary Dana Starkey, 38484 St. Rt. 7, Newport, pleaded no contest to a traffic control signal violation and fined $186.48.

* Benjamin Daniel Trujillo, 4204 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 31-Feb. 2:

* Kyle Matthew Williams, 707 44th St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of DUI, greater than .150, DUI with minors in the vehicle, second-offense child neglect with risk of injury (four counts) and child passenger safety device violation (two counts) and released on $16,000 bond.

* Kelsey Frances Sampson, 612 Lois Lane, Waterford, was arraigned on a charge of bond violation and released on $500 bond.

* Thomas Xavier Trexler, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot and obstructing and released on $1,500 bond.

* Jeremy Paul Holbert, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $500 bond.

* Michael Scott Orr, 3685 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and second offense DUI and released on $1,500 bond.

* Ryan Michael Chaffin, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,500 bond.

* Anthony Shane Alderman, 1859 Dupont Road Apt. 103, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot, obstruction by making false statements to an officer and second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,500.

* Chad Michael Wilson, 936 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.

* Candace Mowery, 1305 Lost Pavement Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of felony worthless check and worthless check (misdemeanor) and released on $1,200 bond.

* Ryan Scott Paugh, Parkersburg, had a charge of obstruction with threats of harm dismissed after a successful completion of a deferred sentence agreement. Charges of domestic assault and public intoxication were dismissed.

* Sierra Dawn Leasure, 401C 13th St., Parkersburg, had three counts of gross neglect of a child creating substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury dismissed as the charges were done through an indictment in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Christopher Patrick Cunningham, 1308 12th St., Vienna, had a charge of solicitation to commit murder dismissed as the charge was done through an indictment in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Courtney Danielle Barker, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of transporting drugs to a corrections facility and held on $10,000 bond.

* Camron Michael Gains, 403 Division St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and held on $5,000 bond.

* Christopher Michael Moneypenny, 107 W Penn Ave., Pennsboro, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license for DUI and released on $5,000 bond.

* Sarah Beth Wright, 628 1/2 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on $2,000 bond.

* Melissa Dawn Gregg, 1409 Andrew St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement, less than $1,000, and released on $2,500 bond.

* Aaron Patrick Fisher, 619 Grandview Ave., Steubenville, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $2,500 bond.

* Joshua David Burns, 4228 Windy Ridge Road, Palestine, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired and indecent exposure and released on $5,500 bond.

* Christopher Paul Harr, 12025 Hunt Road, Huntsburg, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding (81 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $186.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 3:

* Kayla Rose Shoemaker, 117 Morningside Circle, Parkersburg, had two counts of child neglect that created a substantial risk of bodily injury dismissed as the defendant is deceased.

* Richard Allen Harris III, 194 Circle Drive, Ravenswood, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Tommy Harrison Walle, 403 13th St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, had a charge of simple assault dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Eric Leon Parkins, 1900 Stevens St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on four counts of unauthorized use of an access device with intent to defraud. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Hailey Savannah Selmon, 7001 12th Ave., Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II or III controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Carl Anthony Flowers, 615 17th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Lewis Jonathan Blake Williams, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense domestic assault, trespassing and destruction of property and held on $1,500.

* Kimberly Sue Adams, 222 Tonya Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Veronica Lynn Fortino, 3 Worthington Lane Apt. 12, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Zachary Alan Eberbaugh, 452 Camp Hill Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on $500 bond.

* Lacey Vivian Coen, 1017 38th St., Vienna, was arraigned on four counts of child neglect creating a risk of injury and obstructing an officer and released on $20,000 bond.

* Scotty Joseph Byers, 35 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of child neglect creating a substantial risk of bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jeffrey L. James, 26 Crosswind Cove, Elizabeth, had a preliminary hearing waived on three counts of second-offense sexual offender registration violations in providing false or inaccurate information. He also pleaded guilty to failure to obey a traffic control device and fined $181.48.

* Melissa Dawn Adams, 193 Blue Spruce Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having defective equipment and fined $181.48. A charge of improper registration was dismissed.
