As we enter February, we’re looking towards the end of summer and anticipating what we’ll wear this winter. Dua Lipa Is The Face Of Chanel 25 Handbag Campaign

Our favourite loved up Leo Dua Lipa has taken a break from canoodling with Callum Turner to take a turn as the face of Chanel 25 handbag campaign. Director Gordon von Steiner has shot a video that follows Dua Lipa for a day in New York and pulses with 9os energy. Dua prances about the streets of New York to the beat of the 90s track She Drives Me Crazy perfectly capturing the bag, and our girls, sense of joie de vivre.

The singer said, “For me, this campaign is about the freedom of movement, self-expression and embracing that on-the-go energy. It’s powerful yet playful and, above all, joyous. It’s a similar spirit that I share as an artist, so it immediately resonated with me on many levels.”

And, like us, she’s quite taken with the bag. “I’m obsessed with this bag. It’s the perfect kind of bag for me as someone who’s always on the move and likes to carry around everything,” she said, noting the number of pockets as a plus. She also gave some insights into what one of the world’s biggest pop stars carries with her on an average day.

“There’s a place for my books, a place for my sunglasses, maybe a notebook or two, and even a place for my crystals. It’s just the perfect everyday bag,” she said.

The Chanel 25 features quilted leather, an interlaced chain and the above-mentioned pockets for a perfect blend of function and fashion.

Swarovski Unveils Ariana Grande Collaboration Collection

Just a few months after announcing Ariana Grande as its global brand ambassador, Swarovski has unveiled a limited-edition line of jewellery designed in collaboration with the Oscar-nominated star. The 16-piece collection includes crystal- and pearl-adorned bracelets, earrings and necklaces that, according to the brand, ‘celebrate the joy of self-expression and [are] inspired by a deep love of music, reflected in musical notes and hearts.’ To celebrate the launch, Swarovski is hosting a number of joy-sparking and suitably pink pop-ups around the world, including at Harrods in London and Galeries Lafayette in Paris, where customers will be able to shop the collection from today.

Kim Jones Departs Dior After Seven Years

Kim Jones who has been Artistic Director of Dior Homme for the last seven years announced his departure from the house on January 31st. “It was a true honour to have been able to create my collections within the House of Dior, a symbol of absolute excellence,” said Jones in a statement. “I express my deep gratitude to my studio and the ateliers who have accompanied me on this wonderful journey. They have brought my creations to life. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the artists and friends I have met through my collaborations. Lastly, I feel sincere gratitude towards Bernard and Delphine Arnault, who have given me their full support.”

Delphine Arnault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture, said of the announcement: “I am extremely grateful for the remarkable work done by Kim Jones, his studio, and the ateliers. With all his talent and creativity, he has constantly reinterpreted the House’s heritage with genuine freedom of tone and surprising, highly desirable artistic collaborations.” The news has fuelled speculation we may see Jonathan Anderson of Loewe join the house shortly.
