Scott Stewart is on fire right now.
The 36-year-old poker pro from Long Beach, CA took down the largest tournament title of his career on Dec. 21, 2024, besting a field of 2,392 in the $10,000 World Poker Tour World Championship for nearly $2.6 million.
It didn’t take long for Stewart to make his way back to the winner’s circle after that breakthrough triumph. In late January of 2025 he took down two World Series of Poker Circuit events at the WSOPC Thunder Valley stop in Northern California. The pair of victories grew his ring total to eight, making him just the 35th player in the tour’s history to have won as many titles.
This trio of wins, all earned within a six-week span, increased Stewart’s title total to 21. He now has nearly $5.7 million in lifetime earnings accrued across 250 in-the-money finishes.
Stewart first came out on top in the $600 no-limit hold’em six-max event, topping a field of 134 entries to secure the hardware and $16,980.
Four days later, Stewart outlasted 77 entries in the $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em finale of the series for $7,290 and WSOPC ring number eight.
