Air France and KLM’s NDC-based content has been integrated into aggregator TPConnects Technologies’ Iris platform.
The development will give connected travel agents access to all NDC fares and services from the two sister airlines, as well as live availability and real-time pricing.
TMCs using TPConnect’s Iris portal can access airlines’ NDC content as well as traditional EDIFACT fares. It also provides content from budget carriers, such as Ryanair and easyJet, through an API with corporate travel distributor Kyte.
Giuseppe Candela, VP of global sales at TPConnects, said: “Adding Air France and KLM’s NDC content to Iris demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive airline content.
“This integration brings one of Europe’s premier airline groups to our platform, enhancing our offering for travel sellers worldwide.”
Bookings via NDC channels will avoid Air France-KLM’s new and much delayed global distribution system (GDS) surcharge on EDIFACT-based corporate bookings.
Hichame Lahkim Bennani, Air France-KLM’s commercial director for India and Middle East, added: “This new integration of services with TPConnects represents a valuable step in our NDC distribution strategy.
“By integrating with the Iris platform, we’re expanding our reach while ensuring travel sellers can access our extended range of products and services through modern distribution technology.”
Air France-KLM has also been introducing NDC connections with several leading TMCs, such as American Express Global Business Travel and Spotnana over the past year, as well as travel tech firm and aggregator ClarityTTS.
